Large or small, the time is right for you to have a presence on the ubiquitous World Wide Web.
It's very likely that you have "web space" available to you already and the tools for building pages are getting simple to use.

We are under attack from all sides. I think the comparison to the automobile repair industry is very interesting. I remember when the dealers were very independent it was my way or the highway when it came to repairs and service. Now they are in competition with the local jiffy lube... more info»

"Randy, I don't know if this post below was written to provoke controversy or if the mentality of this trde has gotten to the point of replace only. There are still a lot of plumbing items out there that have to be repaired and when the good service mechanic gets on a job and finds an old faucet without removable seats he/she had better be equipped to ream the seat, in a proper manner... more info»

If all we had to do was deliver a workman to a job site, let him work all day then collect for his work, we could be pretty efficient, right? But our customers don't always allow that. On Monday, 6 customers may want us at the same time one of our guys calls in sick... more info»

Among the things that I get really riled up about, such as speeding in school zones, driving while intoxicated and "construction heroes." Maybe I'm a bit simplistic but it seems to me that an extended warranty from an outside insurer protects against two basic risks: One is the likelihood that the contractor will be out of business at some point down the road and won't be there to take care of the customer... more info»
