The engineer in Germany drew ?P on a piece of paper for me and shook his head. “Irresponsible,” he said.
I have much to learn. Working on it every day, though!
Speaking of which . . .
I'll be in Chicago on Tuesday, April 8 and Wednesday, April 9 to do two evening seminars for my friends at Chicago MCA. Each session runs from 4 PM to 7 PM and you're invited. Registration is just $99 and that includes dinner.
I'll be doing Primary-Secondary Pumping Made Easy! on April 8. This is a technical seminar (taught in plain English) and I'll show you how to design both one-pipe and two-pipe primary-secondary pumping systems. I'll also show you how to save money on every primary-secondary job you do - without getting into trouble!
On April 9, we'll discuss How to Deal With Difficult Customers. They’re a fact of life and you have to deal with them, but there’s no reason why you should let them take control and get under you skin. In this lively session, we'll talk about the Angry, the Impatient, the Intimidating, the Nudges, the Demanding, the Indecisive, the Do-It-Yourselfers, the Misguided General Contractor and the Just Plain Mean customers who come in and out of our lives.
We'll explore what makes these people tick and I’ll show you some listening and speaking techniques that you’ll be able to use to diffuse those difficult customers. You know how to fix systems; I'll show you how to fix customers!
If you'd like to get together with us on one or both days, call Laurie Leonard at (312)384-1220 to register.
Heading to Frankfurt
The big ISH is next week and I'll be leaving for Germany on Saturday. I'll talk to you again when we get back.
Hug your kids.
