I'm not getting enough water into my newly installed Kitchenaid diswasher. I hooked it up just like the old Kitchenaid. Both the water supply and the drain line come thru the floor from the basement right into the bottom of the dishwasher.

I had it checked and the guy said that the water was draining out as it was spraying in because the drain line did not have a 20" loop above the floor level. The old hook-up didn't - does this need to be done?
