: I have LOW Hot PRESSUREe water volumn is about half that of the cold water
: coming out of the faucets. With two hot water faucets turned on the water goes to a trickle. The house is 25 years ols and the fixtures do not look as though they ahve been replaced. Where DO I start?

start at the hot water heater. check for any valves
that may be partly closed. if valves have washers,
one may have come apart and is blocking line.
look at the cold water supply size, it should be
at least 3/4"id pipe and the hot also same size.
under sized pipeing is the most common cause of
what you describe. remember the water at cold water
faucets comes off the main line and water at the
hot faucet has to travel to heater first and back to
faucet. if this condition has slowly developed
over years, it could indicate a mineral
build up in hot lines near the heater.
