Check and see if you have adequate combustion air. Louvers in the door to the water heater closet that are open and not full of trash.

Also check your gas pressure. It shouldn't be any higher than 5.5 inches water column or any lower than 4.


: I have presently taken on maintenance involving 247 of the above mentioned heaters. I am experiencing a problem with the pilot lights on them. They seem to be going out and must be re-lit more often than is necessary. I have re-lit more than one at least twice this week. Any help or advice would be greatly app'd.
