a faucet problem...

Posted by Chris Randolph on November 28, 1999 at 06:47:09:

I have a need for a new or used faucet. The problem is that I can't find a faucet that fits. The cast iron tub is porcelain coated, but is from 1927. Also, as far as we know, the faucet is original. The faucets are 3 and 1/2 inches apart, and all the faucets we can find are 4 and 1/2 inches. We found a kit that costs about $1,000, but that is the faucet, and shower. We don't need a shower, just a new faucet. HELP!!!!!!!
