Posted by charles howard on November 27, 1999 at 13:52:12: We live in a mountain that is 5300 ft elevation. The water company has put a recording device on our line and, while they can see variations in pressure, they cannot explain the cause. I have heard our hot water heater making a lot of gurgling sounds and wondered if it could, in any way, affect the pressure. I have noticed that it is difficult to get enough cold water to offset the hot water flow and get a "not too hot" temperature. Help?
