i am installing a new tile shower in a basement with concrete floor, using a plastic membrane as the shower pan.
QUESTION 1) how much concrete/cement should be added below the membrane(this is where the sloap goes, but what is the minumum height needed for the lowest part of the sloaped concrete under the membrane.)
2nd question) what is desired thickness of mortar ABOVE the membrane, in preparation for the tile to be laid.
