Always attached, though. Well, it broke off. Now I want to replace it. Is it just screwed into the tub drain hole, or is it cemented to something down below that I'll snap if I unscrew it? And what tool do I use to back it out? When I get a new one, how can I torque it down, since the new stopper will be installed? Thanks in advance for any help or advice - generally these are screwed in. catch whats left with pliers and screw out of cross bars.
