Posted by Mike Young on September 13, 1999 at 14:23:47: We have a Moen bath/shower set with a bathtub stopper that is spring loaded - press it down, it stays down; press it again, it comes up. Always attached, though. Well, it broke off. Now I want to replace it. Is it just screwed into the tub drain hole, or is it cemented to something down below that I'll snap if I unscrew it? And what tool do I use to back it out? When I get a new one, how can I torque it down, since the new stopper will be installed? Thanks in advance for any help or advice -
