If it is blue, then it is PB and should be replaced. : Have a crack/busted waterline in between street and my house with water standing in middle of my front yard. Meter to house is probably 50 feet. Water confined to 1 particular area. This is second time. House build in 1983 and waterline is definitely pvc; possibly the ill-fated "quest" piping. Not sure. Anyhow, should I dig and repair myself or call the professional in and consider replacing entire length knowing it's a matter of time before this happens again? Appreciate your advice. Leak is slow, but I must do something about it tomorrow, for sure.
