My company is trying to source a pressure release valve for water. The valve should open and release water at about 30 PSI and reclose again at about 20 PSI when the pressure drops cyclicly.
There are probably a number of ways of expressly doing this, but perhaps no special design provisions are neccesary. The added "cracking" pressure might suffice to do the job to create a sufficient spread between "openning" pressure and "closing" pressure.
I also need the valve to have an egress conduit for its released water to travel into a reservoir under building pressure within that reservoir.
What we hope to accomplish is for the valve to open and allow water to flow into a reservoir under pressure. The reservoir will then partially empty and drop in pressure. The valve should then close again when the pressure in the reservoir drops below a certain level below the pressure on which it was initially filled in the first place. The purpose of the valve is to temorarily block egress of more water into the reservoir and delay its refilling. This cycle should be repeatable indefinitely.
