We have demolished a concrete shower hob which was on a concrete slab, which has not been damaged. We would like to install an a acrylic/polymarble base onto the concrete slab, is this possible and how would it be plumbed into the existing drainage, we have been told it could be a problem.

Purchase your new shower base, dry fit it in the spot you want, note how level it is as well the piping and fitting you will need to make the proper connection to the drain pipe.

Then install using cement to level and the proper pipe and fittings to connect.
