my child flushed a potato down the toilet and now it is obviously clogged. I've tried the plunger to get it out and it has not worked. Do you have any other idea on how i can get it out?

Use a closet augar are take up bowl and take a water hose and turn it on full force and if it dont move take a cable and run in from back and work it out, let me know. You might finf something with a hook on it to get it. If you get all water out of bowl take a mirrow and look up and see if you can see it if so you might cut it out in pieces.
